JSL fingerspelling on a hand you can turn. Practise spelling and reading words, or look up any kana in the chart. Drag the hand to see it from any side, or switch to the signer’s own view to copy it.

Filters
No words match these filters, so Random word and the word list have nothing to offer. Loosen a filter to get words back.
A word is allowed when every kana in it comes from a checked row. ゛, ゜ and small kana count with their row; ー is always allowed.
The chart, あ to ん
Press any kana and the hand shows it. Kana with ゛, ゜ or small forms offer them under Form in the options bar.
Reading with the mouth. When someone fingerspells to you, you watch their face and catch the hand at the edge of your view. Tick “Show a talking mouth” and a mouth speaks each kana in step with the hand, on the side where the signer’s face would be. It pairs well with hidden random words.
Two ways to look. “Watching” is what the person you are talking to sees. “Signing” puts the camera behind the hand, so it matches your own hand as you copy it.
Marks and small kana. ゛ slides the held shape outward and ゜ lifts it. Small kana such as っ, ゃ, ゅ, ょ pull back toward the body. In Reference, pick a kana that has these forms and they appear under Form in the options bar. ー is an index finger drawn straight down, and shows up when you spell a word.
Traced strokes. の, り and ん are written in the air from the wrist, the right way round for the signer, so the signing view reads correctly. Untick “Show the traced line” to practise reading them without the orange line.
